Appointment Policy

To schedule a visit for your pet, please call us at 402-333-3847. Appointments times are available beginning at 8:00 AM Monday - Saturday. If your pet is scheduled for surgery or a procedure, your pet may be dropped off at 7:00 AM.

We will be closed on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July.

Arrival Policy

We understand that veterinary visits can be stressful. At Prairie Lane Veterinary Hospital, we aim to create a comfortable and stress-free environment for everyone who walks through our door. For this reason, we ask that all pets arrive to their visit properly restrained with a leash or carrier. This will help ease the anxiety of being in an environment with new people and pets, as well as ensure the safety of everyone at our practice.

Please give us a heads up before you arrive if you think your pet may be experiencing kennel cough, parvovirus, or any other contagious condition. We will make special arrangements for your pet to prevent the spread of disease to other pets.

Payment Policy

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept a wide range of payment options including cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, money orders, traveler’s checks, and CareCredit®.

We understand that unforeseen medical expenses happen and can become a challenge in today’s economy. We want to make sure your pet always receives the care they need to be happy and healthy, which is why we now accept CareCredit® as a form of payment.
